I needed to get across a high snowbank yesterday, and a complete stranger gave me a hand to hold. His coffee cup was steaming, and he had a smile of understanding on his face. Another woman was walking ever so slowly along the icy sidewalk, and she nodded approvingly at him. It’s moments like that when people show their true nature. Most of us are kind and caring. XOXO
Ah yes, none of us enjoy the ageing process, but we, and everything still holds the young self inside! 🙂

Some days my kids make me feel young, but often, it’s just the opposite. 🙂

Brenda, what is it about snow and broken branches that instantly have me thinking of Robert Frost and suicide poems? Your poem conveys a lot.
