Midsummer Night’s Dream, Part 3

Frog violining

Be kind and courteous to this gentleman;
Hop in his walks and gambol in his eyes;
Feed him with apricots and dewberries,
With purple grapes, green figs, and mulberries;
The honey-bags steal from the humble-bees,
And for night-tapers crop their waxen thighs.
And light them at the fiery glow-worm eyes,
To have my love to bed and to arise;
And pluck the wings from painted butterflies
To fan the moonbeams from his sleeping eyes:
Nod to him, elves, and do him courtesies.

Note: Happy Father’s Day to all fine Gentlemen! Happy Midsummer! 3. Brenda, so glad you have your ice cream loving man/Dad/grandpa for your kids to spend time with. Of course, also glad you found a wonderful Daddy for the trio, too.
    This message of respect for fathers and those who do so much for their families was fun and whimsical. How cool that you chose this, Brenda. I can recognize this as one of the speeches from Shakespeare’s light-hearted and mystical summer play.
    Columbus did it with a mix of actors and there were tall marionette/puppets carried like the famous Lion King characters(as the sprites and fairies in the woods.) It was performed in German Village at Schiller Park. This is a “pass the hat”/free will offering for the company production.
    Happy Father’s day to your family!

      • If you need some time to recharge, Brenda, by all means do so. I know I will have to recharge after I am finished with this challenge, my last day being tomorrow. I have written so many comments my head is really spinning. BUT!!! This challenge drew from out of me aspects of me I didn’t know about. I really grew from this experience. So I hope you take up the banner, when you are recharged, for I think you will be amazed at the outcome. Love, and (((HUGS))) AmyRose ❤
