This winter changed my perspective on snow. It drew the line and emphasized that less is more.
Bench slats with a dusting.
A driver confused.
Pond life is still green under ice.
A snow day from the inside out.
Parking meters shorted out and neglected by all.
A child towers over the street signs
Note: I enjoy these photos far more now that spring has arrived in full force. These photographs are presented as part of Cee’s Fun Foto Challenge for this week: Perspective (Unusual Angle or Point of View). If you follow the link, you’ll find my blog post, Pairs, was featured in her post as a Featured Blogger. I am honored and delighted, Cee!
I like these perspectives. 🙂

It was a particularly amazing winter. I find the photos always look flatter than they should, but these really show how crazy the world got.

Less is more, about snow, I agree! Thanks for sharing.

I always write very little about nature in the winter. It’s hard to stay positive in all that glaring white.

That was one big climb for the little girl. Great photos for perspective.

Thanks! I loved yours, too. Especially the boat somehow. It was almost transformed into an arrow or an abstract by the angle.

It seems like it was so long ago when we had a mound like the one the child is playing on, in our back yard. I love the confused driver. Sometimes, I look at tire tracks and just shake my head.

That car really had to reason at all to go veering off like that. No evidence that they tried to brake. Just joyriding across the grass on a snowy day. Weird.

The pond photo is tascinating and the one throught the window is quite brilliant I think. Like a contemporary Japanese photo. Excellent work

Wow. Thanks!! I thought they were all more powerful together than they were apart. I was grateful to Cee for making me see them a new way.

I must get back to doing Cee’s challenges – they are very good for making you aware of what works photographically.

Thanks! I like it, too, but I can’t quite put my finger on why. I was afraid we wouldn’t be able to open the door that day.

Love the first photo. That really is a different perspective.

Thanks! Most of the rest are related to subject matter. They are related to my perspective than the camera’s. 😀
