Spring a ling!
Hear spring sing;
Flower bells ring:
Spring a ling!
Spring a ling!
Spring a ling!

Note: We’re hearing it! A few days above 50 and a vast flood of snow melt is all the encouragement these little hardy crocuses needed. My lucky neighbor already has blooms. I hope you’re enjoying National Poetry Month. I am participating in Poetry Friday, organized by Kidlitosphere Central and hosted this week by Laura Purdie Salas at Writing the World for Kids. She has lots of great tips for reading poetry to kids.
Thank you for visiting, after that jib did not have much friends. My blog is a connection to like mind. Pleade continue to folloe my story it may be amusing. Your blog is inspiring.

Yes ma’am I am enjoying National poetry month in my own ‘Unofficial’ way with an A-Z name game here at my other site:

As for participatory dinner… I was shrubbery to hide the hunter, who was going after the ‘bull’ so we could all have some
‘rump roast’ at our feast. 😉

It’s now Saturday, and the sun was out all day. I believe we have overcome winter! (Although it practically did us in.) So happy that you’re celebrating with crocuses. Their pert little blossoms always make me happy.

Brenda, I’m glad to see you’ve become a regular member of the Poetry Friday family! Looks like your crocuses (croci???) are doing better than ours…we had a few ready to pop up and then we got hit with 3 inches of snow and ice. Poor things never knew what hit ’em!

Yes, we had sleet last night, too, but I prefer to focus on the buds and the crocuses, because they are sending the message I want to hear. LOL I did have to get my parka out again, though, more’s the pity.

I saw some crocuses in all their lavender glory at my oldest daughter’s house, Brenda. I like the idea of them “ting a ling-ing” also some hyacinths which had not blossomed yet. This sure was a cheery post and the photo so clear and beautiful, too.

Thanks! I was so happy to see them in bloom. Every year spring is a wonderful joy, heralded by crocuses and forsythia.

I agree, they are heralding with their songs of joy. Fun stuff, positive energy from being around nature helps us all to clear the ‘winter blues’ out of our systems.

My middle son bunged up his ankle, broken or sprained, they were unable to decide. I’ve lost two days now to long doctor visits. No time for commenting in my usual way. I never seem to catch up, but only to fall farther behind. I have been working on a 6 line poem today, on and off, as I’ve had 5 minutes. But I couldn’t finish. And now I’m too tired. I hope my poor mite is better soon. We may have to cancel our vacation if he still can’t walk next week. Oh, well. Peace and Joy, Brenda

Unfortunately, spring has not yet arrived here in Ottawa, Canada. But the forecast is calling for milder weather this week-end. Maybe at last it will arrive?

We’ve had a major thaw, and some small signs of spring, but winter is still scrabbling for a foothold. Sooner or later, spring will smack it down. Winter can defeat Fall but not Spring! 🙂
