With treacle, a radish and bee’s knees,
Fae Rose grew apricot roses with ease.
She turned away blight,
With joy and delight,
And her ladybugs gave aphids a squeeze.

Oh I love that last line! It really tickled my gardener’s sense of humour 😉 lovely shot, such a pretty colour for a rose x

Yes, a lovely rose color. I love a garden with roses of all different colors in blooms. Reminds me of my youth, and visiting Mill Creek Park with my grandmother. They had a beautiful rose garden there, laid out in a circle with a huge fountain in the middle.

That sounds idyllic 🙂 a rose garden would be high on my list if I had a place of my own. All different kinds and colours, I think I’d live there in summer! x

Yes, and I would need lots of ladybugs and dragonflies and butterflies. 🙂

You given me a big, fat smile! 🙂 It almost makes up for the NERF guns thwacking the woodwork and the shrieking of the remote control lego robot. 🙂 Cheers, Brenda

I wasn’t perfect in rhythm, but I had fun writing it anyway! Isn’t that an unusual rose? That was in San Mateo, CA.
