Don’t be sad, don’t be blue,
The whole world is blooming, just for you!
Life might be hard, it might even be grim,
But the music of flowers is like a hymn.
Magic surprises await you here and there,
Under the stars, in the sunshine, everywhere!
I choose to greet magic with a saucy grin.
Gossamer castles built by the spiders’ spin,
Bluebells, lavender, and tiny white lily of the valley bells,
Daisies, Coneflowers, Foxglove: therein magic dwells.
A shady bench, a fragrance sublime, a reverie,
A friendly fairy, that is all I need to be happy.

Nice. I think we could all use a friendly fairy. I hadn’t thought of lily of the valley in ages, but when I read the name, I could smell that cool, white smell that I loved as a child. Thank you for coming by to read my Charlotte story. 🙂

Thanks, MM, I have been missing you and my other friends. My son just told me he has the potion of halitosis. Umm, I think they have been playing too much Munchkin. They are obsessed.

There’s a lot of blooming going on at the moment, even in my slightly scruffy backyard, or I should say the backyard I overlook from my upstairs flat, as I don’t have much access to it! But there are some large white calla lilies – the glory of the scruffy backyard, they definitely are music to me! 🙂

Oh, calla lilies are lovely. Too bad you don’t have your own bit of earth. It’s very rewarding to plant and watch things grow. 🙂

Right now I published an Haiku with Magic. Indeed Flowers bear magic.
It is the ring of light giving them magic.
Magic from Dresden is arriving there as your picture reached me.

lol I think I’ll head over to Garfield (recliner) and get a nanna nap. I got 3.5 hours last night and then there was a crash outside our house at about 6:30, then everyone was awake and then we went to the movies.. (school holidays) I’m feeling a little pooped!

Oh, yes, all three of my kids are home. Their favorite sport is bickering. LOL But they are all asleep now, the little dears.

It is school holidays here and my two fell asleep about 1.5 hours ago. In my bed, while reading books.. lol
I’ve been threatening them with loosing fun stuff and pocket money if they bicker. They still bicker, they just do it quietly and try to pretend they are being nice whenever I approach.. lol

Mine will be up soon, and I’m hoping for a fun day. We’re going to take a ferry, visit the waterfront, eat lunch out. I try to wear them out when I have the energy to myself… 😀

It’s just gone 11:17pm, so I’m hoping for atleast 7 more hours of sleeping children!
Wearing out is good, because then they are too tired to be bothered bickering.. lol
