Dandelions always remind me of childhood, it’s a long time since I blew one of those away into the wind. I shall have to remember next time I see one – and make a wish of course! 😉
I love this post Brenda!! 🙂 I remember blowing on the dandelions when I was little. I remember thinking that those little parachutes were souls on their way to be reborn somewhere new. I was quite the philosophical child 🙂
And so they were, surely the seeds carry the soul. 🙂 Some religions hold that all living things have souls. I like to think of that as the divine spark, the bit of creation-animation that makes things grow and bloom. 🙂
I don’t know how I keep missing your posts in my Reader, but Im back to catch up. Love the dandelions…though they are a “weed” they are still amazing…Two entirely different creations in one 🙂
I used to just LOVE blowing these things.

Dandelions are magical! So beautiful up close right up until they lose all their seeds. Then they are awfully bald and middle-aged looking. LOL
