I hope your new year has many saved treats, stored against the long winter.
I also hope you find just what you need, when you first realize you need it. Joyous New Year!

  1. Happy new year indeed, Brenda 🙂

You know, I’ve never had chestnuts. Can only image. Chestnuts over an open fire strikes me as romantic. Love the photos.

    • Glad you liked the photos and took the time to say so. I was quite surprised to still see chestnuts hanging from a tree this time of year. The other photo, the medley of chestnut leaf and nuts was from the fall.

I like chestnuts, I used to find them as a kid. The shape is a bit like a worry stone, and it fits nicely into the palm. Somehow they seem carefree to me now, a symbol of happy walking.

    • 🙂 Raise a glass for me, I’ll probably be passed out cold by 9 pm. We cleaned the kids’ playroom today to start the New Year with a fresh clean room for them. OMG LOL Brenda
