I see them as golden and shiny rather than sticky, with a little earth magic used by the fae cobblers, but I am an optimist. 🙂 Happy Holidays to you as well, Brenda
Ooh! I like those descriptive words and I hope the ice storm creations did not drive you and yours too crazy or upset your holidays! I heard about several dangerous situations out East… Have a safe, joyous and beautiful New Year, Brenda! Hugs, Robin
The ice storm missed us, we have been fine. I’ve seen some amazing pictures of it elsewhere. Glad you are safe, too! Will be putting up a New Year’s post and a new story soon. Peace and Joy, Brenda
Almost got the word right.
You´re right, even I tend to amaze myself on how I can be so calm, sure of myself, think through things in matter of seconds when it gets to critical situations probably the army had something to do with it, or I just hadded in me, then I was tested on it and I seem to do fine. I tend to detach myself emotionally from the situation, and go on what I call my “Robotic mode”. Meaning I asses the situation and then say “O.K I have to do A B and C, to solve the problem or make it a little less painful at least. And then all my energies and focus just on what it has to be done to solve the problem. In this case with my dying uncle. So even with family I do it. May seem a bit harsh, but I can´t afford to cry or just panick since if I do a bad situation is just going to be worst.
Beautiful poem which gives me hope for that spring is approching – I love springtime. Not because of the pollen ( me and my boys are allergic) – but I love when the first flower buds shows up, and everything else that I can’t express in english…is reborn – it gives hope and it makes me amazed of the strenght in life. I always look around watching the birds returning, the bugs returning and I sigh of relief and sau load to myself – thank you for coming back this year too. Happy New year Brenda!
Happy, joyous new year!! I also love to see the buds, swelling with nearness to spring. I love to see the evidence of juices flowing in the trees, life slumbering, but renewing. I like winter, but always I am thinking of spring. 🙂 Thanks for commenting.
You found quite a hidden treasure and gave it a lovely voice:)

I was missing some good Haiku, and that was a precious picture, you should be a photographer as well, a professional one that is.
