Glorious fanfare

Lavender Moon: Artist, Poet and Lover of Nature

Languishing Morning Glory,
Glowing like
A pixie’s French horn,
Bathing
Ceremoniously
In morning rays;
Playing a fanfare
To golden
Days.

  1. I always love the way you write your poetry. The pixie’s french horn is so clever! Also, just wanted to let you know that I watched on TCM (Turner Classic Movies) over the weekend, the Doris Day movie I had recommended (again!) and it was still cute and fun! I heard an interesting fact about it, “With Six You Get Eggroll” was the last movie Doris performed in. She retired after that one! Take it easy, thought of you… smiles, Robin

    • I wondered what you were up to. I must not have been in my reader at the right time, I missed what you’ve been posting. I’m going to have to start bookmarking, because I just can’t keep up anymore. 4 kids in the house is too many for having any time to write and enough time left to read! Still I like to be busy. 🙂
